Has beaten only one horse home in two starts so far. Up in trip again but has plenty to find on the basis of his performances so far and others are much preferred.
Nathaniel colt who cost €250,000 as a yearling. Related to a few black-type winners, including his half-brother Belardo, and his sire is starting to come into his own as a producer of smart performers.
Not disgraced on debut when out-running his odds of 25/1 to finish despite running green throughout. Should be capable of better now but is up against some promising newcomers.
Distorted Humor colt who makes his debut here and is from the family of Preakness Stakes winner Bernardini. Good pedigree and trainer is having a fantastic season with his juveniles, including first time out.
Dalakhani colt who cost 90,000gns as a yearling. Goes for some top connections here and has the potential to be an exciting prospect.
Kitten's Joy colt who cost $160,000 as a yearling. First foal of a mare who placed at Grade 1 level, and with a Derby entry to his name is of great interest on debut for a top trainer.
Was a well-beaten ninth of nine and beaten 29L on debut at Brighton last time out. Steps up in trip here in a first time tongue strap, but seems to have it all to do.

Unusually for a maiden of this nature many of those with the best chances seem to be those who are unraced, and the tentative suggestion is GHOSTWATCH. On jockey bookings he would seem to be the second choice of the Charlie Appleby runners but Jamie Spencer is obviously a highly capable rider regardless and this newcomer's huge price tag and pedigree should not be ignored. John Gosden's Qatar Racing newcomer Roaring Lion is preferred next, ahead of the other Appleby runner Kind Act.
