New lease of life recently, winning back-to-back races at Gowran Park and Tipperary over this sort of trip, both with some give underfoot. Something of a concern that five previous visits to this venue have been tame.
Broke duck last month at Fairyhouse (6f, good) off a mark of 60, not quite able to build on that in two runs since and form in four runs at this track isn't inspiring.
Beaten 8L in a Tipperary claimer (1m1f, yielding) this month, unplaced in ten outings but best effort came over a mile at this track in February.
Four runs this year and filly has shown glimpses of ability in turf outings at Limerick and Tipperary, both over this sort of trip. Has to improve seemingly but Smullen booked here and that is noteworthy.
Won over this C&D in October 2015 but nine runs since has been a model of inconsistency. Blinkers are back on here having been well held at Gowran Park (7f) last month on first start for 327 days.
Filly took advantage of lowly mark to score twice here early in the year, including over this trip. Hasn't looked as good on turf and needs to improve back on AW to score off current mark.
No win since 2015, sequence now out to 13 runs. Has been off the track since October and has enough on her plate at the moment seemingly.
Some minor promise in pair of maidens here late last year, though efforts on turf this summer, including 30L defeat in 1m1f Leopardstown handicap this month, ensure there is plenty improvement required.
Beaten ½L when finishing runner-up off a 1lb lower mark in a handicap over 1m at this track in May. That was a much-improved effort and one to take seriously on first outing since.
Mostly toiled in five starts since joining this yard, all on turf. Makes no obvious appeal on AW return and best watched until some positive signs are exhibited.
Just 2lb higher than when winning over C&D in December, she's had a trio of spins on turf recently to aid fitness and would have fair claims in this field if putting her best foot forward.
A 12-race maiden, she has work to do on form though didn't run a bad race at Down Royal last month over this trip on good to yielding (beaten 4L).
Nine-race maiden, well beaten off in runs at Roscommon, Gowran Park and Naas this season, though that most recent run over a mile was perhaps a step in the right direction.
Filly was last of 12 over 5f at Down Royal last month on return from 252-day absence. Efforts in maidens here last year don't exactly inspire confidence and seems best watched for now.

Border Prince just didn't manage to last home over a mile here when last visiting, and should not be underestimated now if able to grab that initiative, though he'll have to overcome a wide draw to do so. Eleuthera has looked a reformed character in winning at Gowran Park and Tipperary lately but his record at this venue rather tempers any enthusiasm despite that well-being. Dandy Rock's best effort came around here, while the booking of Smullen to partner Scilly catches the eye. In a race where many have questions to answer, SECRET PATH gets the vote. She's just 2lb above her winning mark over C&D in December and should be in the mix having had a few recent turf runs to get her fitness in shape.
- Secret Path
- Border Prince
