Camelot colt cost 400,000 gns as a yearling and is very well bred. Represents Ballydoyle and, while yard's 2yos can need a run, should be right in the mix for this on debut.

Dawn Approach colt has plenty going for him on pedigree and is worth noting in the betting for this debut run. Stable form of 0/27 is a little off-putting.

Some promise shown in 6f good ground Curragh maiden in May (won by Beckford) but flopped back there later the same month and now has plenty to prove on return tackling the mile.

Authorized gelding has some merit on pedigree and represents the champion jumps trainer here. Worth keeping an eye on.

Second Ballydoyle runner, found only one too strong when sent off odds-on favourite over 7f at the Curragh recently on second start. He's out of Frankel and sets the standard in this field.

Excelebration colt is a half-brother to a pair of smart winners and an interesting debutant here. Stable foiled Nelson last time when he was odds-on, so should know where they stand now.

Forecasts

Nelson (1/2), Dawn Arrival (11/2), Christopher Robin (6/1), Tashman (7/1), Maze Runner (20/1), Itschessnotchekers (50/1)

Verdict

A potentially trappy little maiden, NELSON sets the standard on form and the son of Frankel is entitled to come and win a race of this nature. He found only one too good last time and may make amends now. He was turned over by a stablemate of Tashman last time, so any money behind that debutant might be worth following giving the Weld team is coming to the boil and they should know where they stand with the selection on homework. Christopher Robin is a newcomer worth noting for Ballydoyle while Maze Runner is also one to be paid attention on his first start.
  1. Nelson
  2. Tashman
  3. Maze Runner
