Proving to be versatile regarding the ground and has already gone close on a coule of occasions. Blinkers for the first time is an interesting ploy and this in-form filly is well worth a betting check.
Sound effort latest at Bath puts him in the picture whilst he is still on a winning mark. Arguably better on the AW these days and wouldn't want too much rain. So support not without its risks.
Third of four latest needs to be improved upon but had Gold Hunter 1l adrift when winning over C&D on his penultimate start. The recent rains are very much to his liking and he has to merit a second look on these terms.
Back on a winning mark and holding his form well just now. Didn't handles this course too well on his only previous visit but is a little wiser these days. Place claims if the sixth furlong doesn't take too much a toll.
Yard always respected with its sprinters and, given that the gelding has gone well here in the past, there are plenty of reasons for suspecting a bold attemtpt at him landing his three-timer. The handicapper has made life tougher with a revised 5lb higher mark after his latest win at Bath, but the ground will suit and he goes well for tonight's rider. Big chance of going in again here.
below form of late and the grouynd appears to have turned against him. May also be better over a longer trip; others make more appeal.
Won here twice and will love the ground. Recent form puts him in the frame for bold show but needs to be near his very best if he is going to emerge with top honours this time.
Interesting contender despite being 10lb out of the weights. The terms of this race leave him with an uphill task but his form figures are hard to crab and he may well finially rid himself of the maiden tag before too long. One to keep tabs on for a low-grade handicap after this.
This looks to be too big an ask for this game filly at this stage and it will take mamoth effort from her to get involved from so far out of the weights.
Very stiff test on these terms and hard to see her having much impact at the business end.

Forecasts
Del Parco (5/2), Bonjour Steve (4/1), Picket Line (11/2), Secret Potion (6/1), Gold Hunter (7/1), Pastfact (8/1), Oeil De Tigre (8/1), Jacksonfire (10/1), Air Of York (22/1), Tally's Song (50/1), Polkadot Princess (50/1)
Very ordinary stuff for the finale and only a small interest on DEL PARCO is recommended. Bonjour Steve and Pastfact are others with similar claims and appeal for a sporting punt in a combination forecast. That said, support for Gold Hunter would also have solid foundations and the top weight is another worth bearing in mind.
- Del Parco
- Bonjour Steve
- Pastfact
