Cheap purchase who beat a useful yardstick at Ayr. Struggled under a penalty last time but he has an attractive mark here and the services of a claimer who is excellent value.
Struck form when beating Arabian Jazz here in June but he has been below that standard since. Looks to have a little to find here.
Improved effort when pressing Go Now Go Now at Catterick last time and only narrowly failing. There should be little between them again at these weights but a wide draw makes things more difficult.
Steadily progressive and third last time on nursery debut. A line through the winner gives him a bit to find with Mr Carbonator.
Has improved with each run and revised mark asks for a lot more in a much better race than last time.
Responded to more forceful tactics last time to get off the mark at Catterick. More required now but stable have won three of the last ten renewals of this and rider has a good record on their juveniles this year.
Makes nursery debut for an in form yard that can ready one for this type of race. A poor draw may have scuppered plans for now but worth watching for similar events in the future.
Time has shown he had difficult tasks on his first three starts but he looked a winner in waiting last time. Finished behind Reinbeau Prince on that occasion but promised more to come and he is the stable jockey's pick. This is a better race but he is expected to improve considerably for the extra furlong.
Closely matched with Poet's dawn on C&D form but neither appeal as being particularly well handicapped on their most recent efforts.
Well beaten last time on nursery debut and has been absent for six weeks since. Up in trip with significant improvement required.
Split two horses in a seller on his penultimate start whose subsequent exploits make him well handicapped at present. Only just touched off on heavy ground last time and due to go up 6lb in his next race. Draw has not been kind.

Forecasts
Arabian Jazz (11/2), Go Now Go Now (6/1), Mr Carbonator (6/1), Poet's Dawn (7/1), Admiral Rooke (7/1), Crownthorpe (8/1), Northern Law (8/1), Jackontherocks (9/1), Reinbeau Prince (10/1), Here In The Dark (16/1), Viceroy Mac (16/1), Ventura Crest (40/1)
Viceroy Mac and Here In The Dark make their nursery debuts having promised better to come in this sphere and are worth market checks. Mr Carbonator is the best handicapped runner in this but his draw sets him a difficult task. Go Now Go Now and Crownthorpe are closely matched on their clash at Catterick three weeks ago and represent yards that have had success in this race in the past. Michael Dods saddles two with the stable jockey indicating a preference for ADMIRAL ROOKE. His latest effort would not represent the strongest form on offer. Nevertheless, he produced a performance that promised much more over this longer trip.
- Admiral Rooke
- Go Now Go Now
- Crownthorpe
