Based on Flat form, Newt, off the mark in a Bath handicap over 1m5f for trainer-Mark Prescott, may take the field along here in the early stages, with Charlie Rascal, who won on hurdling debut, but put in a less than eye-catching jumping display, making mistakes at the second and last hurdles, in behind. Preference is for the Dan Skelton-trained, THE RAVEN MASTER, who went well on yard and hurdling debut at Stratford last month, when beaten just ½L.
