Very consistent sort since switched to fences and won twice in 2016. Not managed to get off the mark this year but not beaten all that far last time at Market Rasen. Obvious each-way claims once again and due to go up 2lb in the handicap when reassessed.

Back to form with back-to-back wins this year and has won off this mark in the past. Gets the services of a useful 7lb claimer here and ought to go well in his hat-trick bid having run well here on his previous two starts at the course.

Won three of his five starts since switched back to fences and ran out an easy winner at Newton Abbot when last season. Handicapper perhaps gone over the top with his assessment of that contest though and he has to find more improvement if he's to land a hat-trick.

Useful sort for the Jonjo O'Neill stable and won at this course earlier in his career. Off the mark at the second attempt for this yard last year and arrives here on 10lb better mark due to some subdued performances but ran well at Uttoxeter two starts back. Consistency not his forte though and clearly a risky betting proposition.

Still a maiden after 14 starts under Rules but signs he'll make a better chaser than hurdler on some of his more recent efforts. Should enjoy the nature of this race and won't mind ground or trip. Interesting runner.

Won just once since 2013 and that came in heavy ground over hurdles. Has run okay in three starts after switching to fences but creeping up the weights without winning isn't ideal. Still well-handicapped on old form and can't be ruled out.

Gained his second win over fences last time out with a win at Cartmel and only up 4lb for that narrow success. This certainly looks a stronger race but any rain would help and he tends to jump well.

Two from 26 over hurdles but yet to win in 10 starts over fences. No match for the favourite at Stratford last time but beat the rest of his rivals well enough; shapes like he's capable of scoring off this sort of mark and won off higher marks over hurdles.

Won a couple of point-to-point races and has run okay in two of his four chase starts (pulled up on other two starts). Forced to race from out of the handicap here though and more needed.

Three-time winner over fences but shown nothing in any of his recent starts and forced to operate from well out of the handicap here.

Forecasts

Deadly Move (10/3), Packettotherafters (5/1), Mister Don (5/1), Court Dismissed (5/1), Wade Harper (7/1), Jack Snipe (8/1), Dursey Sound (9/1), Bold Duke (12/1), Don Franco (12/1), Shaiyzar (14/1), Tribal Dance (100/1)

Verdict

Mister Don is due to go up another 2lb in the handicap when reassessed and he ought to give another good account while Shalyzar has been running well without winning. However, it's WADE HARPER who may prove best handicapped and could be worth chancing in what looks a competitive contest.
  1. Wade Harper
  2. Mister Don
  3. Shaiyzar
