Beaten a head over 1m2f at Lingfield on the AW in April and ran a fair race when 5L second in a three runner event on turf there subsequently. Drops in grade here having contest a Class 4 contest at Sandown last time.
Placed three times in five starts since winning off a 5lb lower mark over 1m4f at Doncaster (soft) in May. Most recent effort came when 6L third over an extended 1m5f at Chester (good-to-soft) a fortnight ago and she drops in trip here.
Broke her maiden at the second attempt over 1m4f at Chepstow (good-to-firm). Well held when beaten 10L at Bath on her handicap debut last time and races off the same mark today.
Recorded a double over this distance in the spring but has been sent off favourite and beaten the last twice. Finished last of three over 1m4f at Beverley (good-to-firm) last time out and she returns from a break today.
Has run well in two starts for this yard the latest of which came when tackling 1m6f for the first time at Ffos Las (good). Finished third on that occasion and she is likely to play a leading role returning to 1m4f today.
Finished runner-up on her final two maiden starts including over this trip at Kempton in February. Returning from a break when well held fifth on handicap debut over 1m2f at Sandown (good-to-soft) last time out and this return to 1m4f should suit.
Successful over C&D in a five runner maiden in May but well held on handicap debut here last month. Beaten 6L on that occasion but not written off just yet following a 1lb drop in the weights.
Beaten 4L into second when making her handicap debut over 1m6f at Nottingham (good) in May but well held over the same trip at Wetherby three weeks later. Has placed over this distance in the past.
Forecasts
African Beat (7/2), La Vie En Rose (5/1), Sure To Explore (5/1), Monaco Rose (6/1), Plage Depampelonne (13/2), Stepney (8/1), Inke (10/1), Tomorrow Mystery (11/1)
MONACO ROSE ran well when finishing third over further last time out and she is the selection to take this competitive looking fillies contest. The selection ran well when third on her only previous AW start and she can see off La Vie En Rose who has disappointed the last twice but should fare better here following a break whilst the consistent African Beat is respected and already has a placed effort to her name over this C&D in 2017.
- Monaco Rose
- La Vie En Rose
- African Beat
