Been kept busy during a 33-race career that has yet to yield a single win. Recent form uninspiring and hard to envisage a trip to the winners' enclosure will become post race.
Last of five on debut at Lingfield at the weekend hardly boosts the confidence for a winning quick return. Best watched unless the market suggests otherwise.
Qualifies for a mark of just 64 when going into handicaps and it will be a very weak race if there isn't something lurking to put him in his place. Others more appealing.
Pulled up in a bumper at Southwell before finishing seventh of eleven over 6f here last month. Much more required and hard to recommend just now.
Yard won this with a very similar type in 2015 and this daughter of Zamindar won't need to have improved greatly to take a leading role here. One to seriously consider.
Never a factor on debut at Chelmsford and needs to up her game significantly to take a hand in this. Others much more appealing.
Rated 71 and officially the best of the bunch at this stage, she may have needed the run on her seasonal return and may be worth persevering with. The market will be a big help but she is another that will be hard to keep out of the frame. Needs to break a little sharper this time.
Drops in trip after making no impact between 7f and a mile. Pedigree doesn't suggest it will be the most rewarding move but must be worth a shot after appearing to struggled over 1m so far.
Half-sister to a 6f winner but was left toiling over that trip on debut at Salisbury a fortnight ago. That form uninspiring and not hard to leave alone from a betting angle here.
Worth noting in the betting but yard is quiet just now an she may just simply be better once she has some experience to draw from.
Forecasts
Golden Easter (5/4), Harlequin Storm (5/1), Deer Song (6/1), Silently (7/1), Emilysbutterscotch (11/1), Val's Magic Touch (14/1), Spitfire Limited (20/1), Fortune And Glory (20/1), Look Surprised (28/1), Shamonix (66/1)
An ordinary maiden to round off the card and one that can go to SILENTLY, whose stable sent out the 2015 winner of this race after a similar build up and may have another plotted to take the same route. Golden Easter is likely to have needed the run on her seasonal return and is worth a check in the betting at least, while Val's Magic Touch wouldn't need to be anything special to make the frame at the first time of asking and is another to bear in mind if backed.
- Silently
- Golden Easter
- Val's Magic Touch
