Bred to be far more effective than she's so far shown when given a proper test it's a surprise that connections keep her to 7f. Showing progression from her debut (also over 7f) it was to her credit she managed to win (made all) last time at Thirsk and she may well yet be able to show more despite giving weight away all round here.
Stepped up from 5f to 6f on her second start she showed plenty of progress to score at Chepstow on heavy ground. Conditions will be very different here as she takes another increase in trip for a yard that are going well with their juveniles of late.
Gets the trip that her pedigree suggests that she wants/needs after three tries over 5f the last of which saw her far too highly tried in a York Listed race. This should be a little easier but she still might find this a little too tough.
An Iffraaj filly who is by a dam who was a winner at up to a mile (won over 7f as a juvenile) and is a half-sister to a smart winner at up 1m1f in Very Special. Stable have been going relatively well with juveniles this year and she should be watched in the market.
Cost €26,000 as a yearling but with her dam being a 1m6f winner who is a half-sister to a 2m Group 2 winner Pale Mimosa she looks one who may need some time and distance.
Not an obvious choice for this with the yard yet to have a two-year-old winner and this Medicean filly out of an unraced mare is best watched here.
Her pedigree makes plenty of appeal and she showed promise on her initial outing at Newmarket over 7f despite running green and showing her inexperience. Form of her debut has yet to be tested but she looks sure to improve for a yard that can have some useful juveniles.
Had to drop down in grade on her third start to gain a victory scoring in a Leopardstown claimer over 7f on good ground. Does look exposed in the context of this race however and others are preferred.
Looks to be the preferred player out of the duo that this trainer runs as she's improved on all her three runs so far with her best run coming at Hamilton on her latest start over 6f. Looks sure to appreciate this move up to 7f although may find one or two too good in this.
Just an 8/1 chance on her debut and that maybe gave a clue to the regard in which she was held by connections although she failed to live up to those expectations on debut. She pulled very hard on her debut at Thirsk over 7f and will know more this time around.

Forecasts
Frolic (9/4), Affina (3/1), Double Reflection (5/1), Chrisellaine (13/2), Island Affair (8/1), Kirbec (17/2), Woodplumpton (14/1), Endless Tangent (22/1), Che Bella (25/1), Ventura Royal (25/1), Flamin Audi (66/1)
A decent opener to the card before punters have to get stuck into seven tricky handicaps and Frolic looks to have a good chance of improving on her debut effort. Kirbec will appreciate this 7f trip with Chrisellaine looking to be the best of the three making their debut. Two of the previous winners in the field are strong here though with AFFINA the suggestion in front of Double Reflection given how well she finished off her race at Thirsk and it won’t be a surprise to see her try to make all again.
- Affina
- Double Reflection
- Frolic
