Three maiden runs over 6f-7f have shown little of any substance although going handicapping may turn him around. Bred for middle-distances though and it maybe that further than this 7f is needed.

Showed up well despite finishing in midfield on his debut at Windsor over a mile but has gone backwards from that point in two subsequent runs. Blinkers and a handicap debut are now tried to reverse the slide although it's hard to be confident about his chance.

Quite nicely bred and showed some ability in maidens over middle-distances but was switched back to 7f for his handicap debut. Ran no sort of race there (stumbled early on) and given another try in the same headgear combination used for the first time on his last start.

Has steadily dropped down the grades in handicaps in order to give her a chance and made the most impact in this sphere last time out in 0-60 at Nottingham. Still looks to need to find a bit more improvement to land a handicap and the assessor is giving her a chance.

Had her first outing in a handicap last time out off what looked to be a fairly stiff mark of 60 and finished well held over a mile. Handicapper is quick to drop her 5lb and the hood returns as she bids to find some improvement and may need to ease a little further yet.

Overall record reads 0/14 and remains no better than modest and her last few runs have been well below her ordinary best. Even at this humble level others are given more chance here.

Like the four at the bottom of the weights he runs from a 1lb out of the handicap here but even off a basement mark hasn't shown enough to be of any interest.

Showed a glimmer of promise on his handicap debut at Ripon over 6f back in May but hasn't built on that at all in two runs since. Starting to look exposed now and the visor returns (tried once before) but hard to make a case for her.

Hard to say that she's showed any improvement in maidens and now tries handicaps for the first time without looking to have an obvious chance.

Showed very little in maidens at up to 7f and made no improvement at all for the switch to handicaps last time and can only be watched here.

Forecasts

Queens Royale (9/4), Stopdworldnletmeof (5/1), Belgravian (6/1), Harbour Force (7/1), Royal Melody (15/2), D'waterside (10/1), Velvet Charm (10/1), Greyjoy (14/1), Rocksette (20/1), Sea My Diamond (66/1)

Verdict

A race that is devoid of anything with a real solid chance and it’s hard to make a case for quite a few of these. QUEENS ROYALE is the token suggestion here with the handicapper giving her a chance to win and that may tip the scales in her favour. D’Waterside may be better going into handicaps although he looks to need further and Belgravian is worth another chance to atone for a stumble at the start last time out. Velvet Charm is another that can be thrown into the equation with her mark falling also.
  1. Queens Royale
  2. Belgravian
  3. D'waterside
