Listed winner over 1m3f on heavy ground in Italy last October. Disappointing in four starts for this yard in 2017 and wears a visor for the first time today.
Ran well in finishing runner-up the last twice. First of those efforts came in a valuable handicap at Newmarket over 1m6f on good ground last month while he was beaten a neck over an extended 2m at York (good) subsequently. Likely to run well again here.
Winning for the third time when successful over 1m6f at Salisbury (good-to-soft) last time out. Stays this trip well having finished third over 2m2f at Newbury (good-to-firm) earlier this season and an interesting contender here following a 6lb rise.
Consistent mare and put in a career best performance when beaten a neck over an extended 2m in the Northumberland Plate on the AW at Newcastle last time out. Has been raised 4lb for that effort and one for the shortlist here.
Five time winner in a 36 race career but disappointing since winning on the AW over an extended 2m at Newcastle in March. Back down to that mark today but others make more appeal in this contest.
Victorious at Ayr (good) over 1m5f on his penultimate outing. Could finish only ninth in a valuable handicap at Haydock (good-to-firm) over 1m4f subsequently and steps up in trip today.
Dual winner on the Flat in France but only success since switching to these shores came in a Market Rasen (heavy) juvenile hurdle in December 2015. Well held on two most recent Flat outings and others have a more obvious chance here.
Winner of each of his last two starts including when trying an extended 1m5f for the first time at Chester (good-to-soft). Stayed on well on that occasion and interesting to see how he fares stepping up to this trip for the first time following a 6lb rise.
Finished runner-up the last twice including off a 1lb lower mark over an extended 2m at York (good-to-soft) last time out. Races off a 1lb higher mark today as he seeks a first win since taking the 2014 running of the Northumberland Plate.
Running well in the main this season including when runner-up on his last three starts. Contested a 1m4f handicap on soft ground at Ripon on the most recent of those and he steps up in trip today.

BERRAHRI put in a career best effort when tackling an extended 1m5f for the first time last time out and he is the selection to take this competitive staying handicap upped to this trip for the first time. The selection has to defy a 6lb rise in the weights here but can get the better of Graceland who ran well when beaten a neck in a valuable contest last time out and has won over this C&D already this season. Swashbuckle, third here earlier this year and a winner last time out over 1m6f can claim today.
- Berrahri
- Graceland
