Registered C&D wins in March and April, but the inevitable hike in the weights has halted his progress on his last couple of starts. Respected on his course form, but the handicapper looks to have taken his measure.
Only win on the AW came over C&D in November. Went up 7lb for that easy success, but is coming back down the weights and was not disgraced at Lingfield last time. Each-way claims.
Favourite when landing a C&D handicap in May, and has run well in all outings since despite not getting her head back in front. Her consistency means she has been given little respite by the handicapper and a place may be the best she can hope for again.
On a lengthy losing streak, but by no means disgraced when a never-nearer third of 13 on his last start over C&D when visored for the first time. The headgear remains and he has a chance off the same handicap mark
Won decisively over C&D in March and was third at this track when last seen in April. Has had a short break and should be competitive off the same mark as last time.
Got off the mark at the ninth time of asking when favourite and comfortably landing a Kempton handicap on Wednesday. On an upward curve and has to be of strong interest with 3lb of his penalty offset by a good claimer.
Three runs in maiden company, including one at this track, have revealed limited promise. First time in a handicap so it will be interesting to see if there is any market confidence in him.
All six wins have come on turf and he is 0-12 on the AW. Fifth of 13 over C&D two starts ago and little to suggest he will be winning this off 3lb lower.
Has beaten only four rivals in three starts in maidens and now goes handicapping with cheekpieces fitted for the first time. Not obviously blessed with ability, but another for whom any support would be interesting.

Forecasts
Mutineer (8/11), The Dukkerer (11/2), Lord Murphy (8/1), Top Offer (11/1), Russian Ranger (12/1), Bird For Life (16/1), Lazizah (16/1), Rocket Ronnie (20/1), Damo (20/1), Careyanne (20/1), Vivre La Reve (25/1)
Lord Murphy, Russian Ranger, The Dukkerer and Vivre La Reve have C&D successes to their credit and each have claims, but the really interesting contender is MUTINEER, who won a Kempton handicap with authority two days ago. Part of his penalty is negated by his capable rider's claim and he ought to win this if replicating that run.
- Mutineer
- The Dukkerer
- Russian Ranger
