Hails from a good family and likely to handle testing conditions better than most, being bred to appreciate further. Obvious claims representing a top yard.

Opening effort when fourth of 13 on her debut at Newbury (6f, good to soft) 3 weeks ago wasn't devoid of promise. Yard's newcomers invariably come on for a run, so better expected here.

February filly out of a dam who was a half-sister to numerous winners. Yard quiet with their newcomers so far this season but a market move would be interesting.
Closely related to minor Canadian winner Kodiac Gal and fetched €97,000 at the sales. Likeable pedigree, though yard rarely strike with juvenile debutants.

Cost €80,000 as a yearling and plenty to like on paper, though looked in need of the experience when beating only one home over 7f on her debut at Ascot. No surprise to see considerable improvement.

Doesn't catch the eye on paper and ran accordingly when beating only one home on her debut over 7f at Yarmouth (good to firm). Hard to make a case for on that evidence.
April filly who is a half-sister to a couple of winners over 1m and beyond. Profile suggests she will get better with time and distance.
Unfancied for her debut over C&D (good to soft) last month but was noted staying on steadily once the penny dropped. Better expected with that experience to draw on.

Forecasts

Gavota (13/8), Daybreak (2/1), Lady Godiva (7/1), Capesthorne (9/1), Roseau City (10/1), Ocala (12/1), Goodnight Girl (14/1), Priscilla's Dream (28/1), Pammi (66/1)

Verdict

Capesthorne, Ocala and Gavota are newcomers to note but racecourse experience could prove vital on this surface and, with that in mind, LADY GODIVA gets the vote. Richard Hannon's filly shaped much better than the bare result suggests when looking need of the experience on her debut over 7f at Ascot recently and may offer better value than Daybreak who has similar credentials.
  1. Lady Godiva
  2. Daybreak
  3. Capesthorne
