Improved when fitted with blinkers for the first time earlier in the year and back to something near when third of seven at Leicester last time out. Interesting to see if the cheekpieces can have a similar impact and holds very reasonable claims at the weights.
Drops in grade and this looks a lot easier than his latest assignments. Good chance on these terms and has more proven resilience than may of the others. Shortlisted.
Less exposed than the rest and comes here on the back of a sound effort over 6f here last month. Needs to prove his stamina will hold out but gave a decent account of himself last time, so would be dangerous to dismiss.
Long-standing maiden but has gone well at this course before and at least has proven stamina for the trip. Yard very capable of getting the best out of low-grade handicapper and the filly, with a 7lb claimer on her back, will rarely be presented with a better opportunity to prove herself capable of finally winning a race.
Finds herself in a seller after a string of poor efforts in handicaps. The drop in trip may help this afternoon but her overall profile is very unconvincing and she may have to settle for a minor role again, in spite of a top jockey being booked to do the steering.

It may be worth taking a chance on OCEAN TEMPTRESS, who will find this a lot easier than the company she has been keeping and rates as a value option in a tricky selling handicap. Do You Know will be a threat of responding to the first-time cheekpieces, while Oakley Pride has a good chance at the weights and should also be hard to force of the reckoning at business end.
