Only success in 13 starts came in a four-runner maiden at Lingfield in January, last year. Has been out of sorts in recent outings and has something to prove.

Got off the mark at the eighth attempt when landing a Bath handicap in first-time cheekpieces. The headgear is fitted again and she has every chance of following up off a 6lb higher mark

Nicely-bred sort who showed little in three maidens and finished last of 13 on his handicap debut at Wolverhampton. Runs off the same handicap for his strong stable and has to up his game.

Modest form as a juvenile, but has improved significantly at three after being gelded. Won one of these races at Newbury under this jockey before the combination finished second at Salisbury in a similar event. Has to go on the short list.

Shed his maiden tag when bolting up in a Beverley handicap and was awarded the race when finishing an unlucky second off 5lb higher at the same track on his latest outing. Up another 6lb which makes life difficult, but certainly warrants respect.

Forecasts

Bollin Ted (11/8), Hawridge Glory (11/4), See The Sea (3/1), Gibson Park (9/2), King of Dreams (12/1), Grey Diamond (12/1)

Verdict

A trappy opener. See The Sea won well in cheekpieces last time and should make a bold bid if the headgear works again, while Hawridge Glory has been running well in these events and should do so again. Bollin Ted is respected despite his rise in the weights, but the interesting one is GIBSON PARK, already a winner over hurdles for his in-form trainer, who looks as though he has spotted a winnable opening back on the Flat. KIng Of Dreams and Grey Diamond have questions to answer.
  1. Gibson Park
  2. See The Sea
  3. Hawridge Glory
