Running well in defeat but without a win in over a year. Getting little help from the handicapper so trainer opts for good 5lb claimer to address the imbalance.
Broke her duck in a modest Wolverhampton maiden when sent off at prohibitive odds. Had previously finished down the field in a Chantilly Group Three event and second to the Ribblesdale runner-up Mori at Ascot. Those efforts give her a chance off what appears a workable mark.
C&D winner on debut but has failed to add to that tally since. Has flattered to deceive in the past and that is making it difficult for the handicapper to show her the leniency she may need.
Progressed to complete a four-timer in 2016 and rounded off the campaign with a fair run here off this mark. Stable have a good record at this course and, having won first time out last year, she is one to note in the ring.
Winner under this rider at Ascot in May but has struggled since. Visor tried but she remains 5lb above her last winning mark. Jockey 17-48 for the yard this year.
Winner of a poor C&D maiden in December and later added a Newcastle handicap. Beaten in two starts since when there may have been legitimate excuses for her. Back to optimum trip on a favoured surface and hard to rule out with stable in better form.
Recent form on turf has taken a significant downturn. May be better on an AW surface and the hood is fitted, but looking a risky proposition a present.
Off the mark at the 19th attempt at Chepstow last month over 1m before finishing third off this mark at Bath on Friday. Both efforts came in lower grade and she needs to improve in this company at a time when the yard are struggling for winners.
Well supported on her last couple of starts and now tackles a new trip. Has looked in need of these extra yards and reverts back to a similar surface which yielded her sole success. Stable took this last year and possesses an 8-21 record here with this rider on board.

Glittering Jewel is hard to evaluate on the back of a victory in an uncompetitive maiden last time. Her second to Mori may flatter her, but she nevertheless holds solid claims on her handicap debut. Mia Tesoro enjoyed a lucrative 2016 including a success on her seasonal bow and so needs checking in the market. Sagely continues to be thereabouts but probably needs to drop a couple of pounds from the handicapper. A capable 5lb claimer has been engaged to help in that regard and the combination ought to be in the mix. BLUSHING ROSE has looked in need of this trip and represents last year's winning yard. She is out to recover heavy losses incurred on her last couple of starts and, back on her favoured surface, she is given another chance.
