Improved from his debut run to score at Salisbury last time. That form has been let down since, although a decent run from Coastal Drive in the opener would raise optimism. Should have little difficuly seeing out the trip or acting on the surface.

Kept pulling out extra to score at Newcastle over 7f and beat Ibn Al Emarat by ¾L. Had a good 5lb claimer on boad that day and he may struggle to confirm that form on today's terms.

Looks weighted to overturn recent Newcastle form with Aussie Wind. Stable in form and rider/trainer combination are a better than expected 18-78.

30,000 gns daughter of Nathaniel and related to several winners. Went off fancied on Ffos Las debut on soft ground and was not beaten too far. Should improve for the run and this longer trip. Significant rider booking, 6-19 for the yard in 2017, and has to be on the shortlist in receipt of useful allowances.

Took a big backward step at Redcar two weeks ago and she looks up against it in this league. It is possible something was amiss but her previous effort would still leave her with plenty to find.

Forecasts

Aussie Wind (6/4), Ibn Al Emarat (9/4), Beringer (4/1), Ashington (8/1), Mail Order (10/1), Molly Mayhem (40/1)

Verdict

Beringer and Aussie Wind bring pevious winning form into this with the latter holding the stronger form of the pair. Nevertheless, he has work to do in order to confirm recent Newcastle placings with IBN AL EMARAT. David Simcock's charge gets a 3lb pull for less than a length and it can be construed as more if you consider the David Egan was claiming 5lb on Aussie Wind. Mall Order showed clear signs of ability on her debut and should know a lot more this time. The jockey booking looks significant and she rates a big danger.
  1. Ibn Al Emarat
  2. Aussie Wind
  3. Mail Order
