Course winner who dons the blinkers for the first time who disappointed last time out here over a shorter trip. Tries a new trip here having been dropped 3lb for his last run.
Dropped into a seller last time out and was very free in first-time blinkers looking a very awkward and hard ride. On his display there back into a handicap he looks one to be very wary of.
Without a win this season but has run with credit in his last two starts and competing off his last winning mark. Ought to have a chance dropping slightly in grade over a trip that should suit with his regular rider on board.
A winner on the Flat over a year ago on heavy ground at Pontefract over a staying trip he didn't quite live up to that form after that in the same sphere and over hurdles. His latest Flat run was particularly disappointing and he'll need to bounce back here.
Looks to have been given a real chance on the Flat off this mark but his record is very patchy overall and it remains to be seen if he can take advantage.
Capable but very difficult to know what to expect from her on most occasions as she can be a very difficult and moody individual. Often looks a hard ride and no surprise to see the hood go back on with the cheekpieces.
A winner on his final run of last season he's not looked in the same form this year although he did take a step forward last time out. He has now slipped back below his last winning mark and has won around the course before so not totally written off here.
Showed some promise over hurdles on his first run for this yard but failed to follow that up on his Flat debut for the stable at Catterick last time out. Hard to know what to expect here stepping up in trip.
Well backed when returning from a long break at Redcar over 1m6f at Redcar in May and made all to win well. Has continued to run well since off this mark and if she can cope with this trip should be competitive here.
Has a falling mark to accompany his runs this year but not showing that much and clearly failing to take advantage of it at the moment.
Has run with credit on a couple of occasions but his last win was a shock and he runs from well out of the handicap here. Finished last at Ayr and didn't look in much form at all on his last start.

This should be a real test of stamina and a few of these are stepping up in trip and will be competitive if they can cope with the trip and Miss Tree and Transpennine Star fit neatly into that category. Plenty of the others look hard rides and are not in much form although the likes of Gold Chain and Almost Gemini are not totally written off on their best form. STORMIN TOM bumped into a progressive type last time and given his recent form and off this mark he looks the one who this trip will suit the best.
