Winner of a Grade 3 novice chase at Navan (yielding-to-soft) over 2m1f last December and best effort since came when successful over 2m2f at Limerick (good) last time out. Interesting runner off top weight here.
Beaten 1L over 2m at Punchestown (good-to-yielding) in a handicap chase in April but fell at the same course subsequently. Run a couple of fair races on the Flat since then and wears a tongue tie for the first time here.
Raced prominently when winning by 10L over 2m at Perth (good) last month. Previously finished runner-up twice and races off a mark 7lb higher than for his latest success today.
Finished runner-up on three of his last four starts over fences. Most recent of those came when beaten 1L over 2m at Wexford (good) last time and returns to handicap company today.
Successful at Ballinrobe over 2m7f on good ground on his penultimate outing at the end of May. Well beaten over hurdles since but remains of interest here.
Finished runner-up over 2m3f at Listowel (yielding) in June but disappointing on the Flat since and brought down at Killarney last month. Interesting off a mark 3lb higher than for that Listowel effort.
Completed a double when winning over C&D on yielding ground last October. Failed to complete on two of his three starts since, most recent of those came when unseating at Killarney last month.
Winner over 2m4f in a handicap hurdle at Ballinrobe (good) at the end of May. Fair effort over fences when fifth at Listowel next time out but well held subsequently and others make more appeal here.
Finished 9L sixth of 14 at Listowel (yielding) over 2m3f on his most recent chase start two months ago. Finished seventh over hurdles in similar conditions subsequently and an interesting runner in this.
Winning his first chase when successful over 2m1f at Tipperary (good-to-yielding) last time out. Races off a mark 11lb higher than for that victory and one for the shortlist today.

JACK THE WIRE can follow up last months Tipperary success by taking this competitive handicap chase. The selection has to defy an 11lb rise following that victory but carries a light weight here and can see off his rivals here. Attribution was the winner of a conditions event last time out and is taken to finish runner-up today while Mr Fiftyone can follow up his Killarney third by filling the same position here.
