Successful over 2m4f in a handicap chase at Tipperary (good) in July last year. Unraced since and for the shortlist off a mark 8lb lower than for that victory.
Winner over 2m4f at Wexford (soft) in April but beaten when falling late on upped to an extended 2m6f off this mark at Killarney (good) last time out. Wears cheekpieces for the first time here.
Making his seasonal debut when well beaten at Bellewstown (good) over 2m4f last time out. Stepping up in trip today and an interesting runner for a leading yard.
Recording his first victory when winning over an extended 2m6f at Killarney (good) last month. Races off a 9lb higher mark here but an interesting runner with a leading jockey booked to ride.
Career best effort when finishing runner-up over an extended 2m4f at Roscommon (good-to-yielding) last month. Likely to appreciate this step up in trip and an interesting runner for a shrewd handler on handicap debut.
Recording his fifth career success when winning over 3m at Listowel (yielding) two months ago. Races off a 6lb higher mark today and yard have had a couple of winners recently.
Stays well having finished runner-up in the Ulster National over an extended 3m4f at Downpatrick (good) in March. Beaten 6L over 3m1f in a handicap chase at Kilbeggan (good) last time and races off a mark 20lb lower than if this event were held over fences.
Held twice in novice chases since finishing a close third over 3m1f in a handicap contest in that sphere at Roscommon (yielding-to-soft) in June. Races off a 10lb lower mark today.
Disappointed when a beaten odds-on favourite on debut for this yard over an extended 2m6f at Downpatrick (good) in June. Races off a 3lb higher mark and appears to be the pick of his trainers three runners in this.
Six time winner but well beaten of late most recently over fences at Tipperary (good-to-yielding). Others make more appeal in this contest.
Finished runner-up over 2m5f at Tramore (good) in a maiden hurdle on his penultimate outing. Well beaten in a conditions event last time and makes his handicap debut today.
Beginners chase winner at Kilbeggan (2m6f, good) last time out and finished runner-up over 2m in a handicap hurdle at the same track in June. Races off a 2lb higher mark and has his regular amateur pilot on board once more.
Ran well when finishing runner-up over an extended 2m6f at Limerick (good) last month and still in front when falling at Kilbeggan (3m1f) next time out. Bidding to take advantage of a lowly hurdles mark today.
Winner six times in a 60 race career and run decent races in defeat the last twice. Latest start came when sixth at Tipperary last month and likely to find a few too good once more.
Finished runner-up to Travertine over 3m at Listowel (yielding) in June. Disappointing in three starts since but interesting off a mark 1lb higher than for that Listowel effort.
Finished runner-up on each of his last three outings including in a 3m handicap hurdle at Bellewstown (good) last month. Leading stable have a 20% strike-rate of late (10/49) and one to note off a 4lb higher mark today.
Veteran who finished third of eight in a handicap hurdle over an extended 2m4f at Sligo (good) on his debut for this yard last month. Races off the same mark and vulnerable here. Second reserve.

Trainer Niall Madden can take this competitive looking handicap hurdle with Listowel winner TRAVERTINE. The selection races off a 6lb higher mark today but hails from a yard who have been in form recently and on forecast ground that should be in his favour. Of the seven-year-old's rivals in this Dawn Raider won comfortably on his return to handicap company at Killarney last month while the youngster Theydon Park, runner-up on his last three outings and King Leon who was a winner over fences last are others worthy of consideration today.
- Travertine
- Dawn Raider
- Theydon Park
