Not disgraced on debut at Haydock last month (6f, good to firm), but more needed now pitched in deeper company, though wouldn't be unlike this yard for one to show big improvement on second start.
Intello colt who cost £55,000 as a yearling. Not the most eye-catching pedigree for this debut run, and his relations' form over this generally specialist trip is open to question. Draw a negative.
Not a bad effort on debut at Doncaster last time out (7f, soft), and ability to handle some dig in the ground could serve him well here, but will still need to show more here.
Has run to a similar level in his three starts so far, and though he may have to find a little more improvement here a repetition of that level of form should be enough to see him go close here.
Ran a fair race on debut over C&D before out-running his price at Ascot last time. Showed improvement to run to that level and deserves close consideration here as a result, especially given his low draw.
Never figured on debut at Beverley last time, being always towards the back of the field. Another minor role looks likely here on the basis of that performance.
Finished last of all on debut at Haydock last time, when seemingly a way short of the quality required to score in a novice event of this nature.

Delph Crescent (11/4), Zoffalee (10/3), Red Force One (7/2), Porth Swtan (4/1), Snooker Jim (7/1), Lineofintelligence (16/1), Cum Spiro Spero (20/1), Surrender (28/1)
A few of these have shown glimpses of promise in their previous races without seriously challenging, so it may pay to side with an improver here and SNOOKER JIM fits the bill. Royston Ffrench's colt wasn't disgraced on debut over this C&D, before improving to outrun a big price at Ascot last time out. He probably would have finished even closer than the two lengths distance from the winner if he had gotten a better start, and he is taken to get off the mark here from a favourable draw. Red Force One has been running well and is another to consider, ahead of Richard Fahey's gelding Delph Crescent.
