French raider who helped his yard win this for the second year in succession 12 months ago, albeit on much quicker ground. Has won in testing conditions though and looks shortlist material with Dettori in the plate following a credible return in a 6f Group 1 at Ascot.
Looked a nice prospect last year when taking her winning tall to 4 from 6 when landing a 7f Listed event at Ascot (good to soft) on her final start. No surprise if she is up to winning at this level but has a 10 month absence to overcome.
Progressive filly who made it three wins from just four starts when scoring impressively in a 7f handicap at York (good) on her reappearance. Handled soft ground no problem when winning at Newmarket last season and looks a major player here despite a far from ideal draw.
A Group 1 winner in South Africa over 1m but hasn't quite scaled the same heights on these shores, finishing well down the field when returned at 125-1 for a Group 2 at Ascot last time. Others more persuasive.
German raider who has won up to 1m1f in her native country and was also second in a Group 3 over 1m (soft) last time out. Drop in trip not ideal but will relish the easy surface more than most and Spencer is an eye-catching booking.
Just two wins from 13 attempts, her most recent coming in a handicap at the Curragh over 7f (good to yielding). Has just fallen short in subsequent Listed and Group events and no surprise if this was also to prove beyond her.
Plenty of juvenile promise and scored nicely on first attempt over 7f at Leicester (good to soft) on her reappearance. Couldn't quite repeat that form when just edged out in a Listed event at Carlisle next time but not inconceivable she could get involved from a good draw.
Far from disgraced in Group company as a juvenile, having won a maiden over 6f here (good). Disappointed initially this season but much more encouraging signs when second behind Magical Memory at Newbury (6f, soft) last time. First attempt at 7f.
Career best when landing a Listed contest at York (1m, soft) in May, having landed a Newmarket maiden over 7f previously. Found Group 1 company too hot to handle in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot but one to consider dropping in grade with an easy surface no issue.
Two modest efforts on the AW as a juvenile before staying on resolutely to win at Lingfield (6f, good to firm) on her reappearance in June. Sure to strip fitter now as she steps up in trip but this represents a sizeable jump in class.

AL JAZI impressively provided French trainer Francois Rohaut with a second successive win in this race 12 months ago and, with Frankie Dettori a notable booking, the four-year-old could prove hard to beat having warmed up for this with an encouraging performance over an inadequate trip at Royal Ascot. A positive market move for the unexposed Eternally would be interesting whilst Sainted, Bletchley and Eternally wouldn't need to improve much to get involved.
