Stays well and is fine on this sort of ground. Relatively consistent, though the handicapper does look to have his measure for the moment.
Goes well here and has three C&D wins to his name and all types of ground. The last of those was 11 months ago from 6lb higher. Not in the same form this season, but now that he is back here and on this mark he makes much greater appeal.
Sole success was in a Kempton maiden (1m3f, AW) in October and has been reasonably competitive from slightly higher marks on a couple of occasions since then. Beaten favourite at Kempton last time (2m, AW), but may be able to make more of an impact from 2lb lower.
1-20 so far but has run some very respectable races in defeat this year, both over hurdles and 1m2f on the Flat. This is a big step up in trip on the level and pedigree suggests that stamina may be an issue, so looks best watched.
Won over C&D on soft ground a few seasons ago but goes on any ground and is now 6lb lower than his latest win which was in 2015. Recent races from this mark suggest that he should be competitive, though nor necessarily good enough to win.
8lb lower than his latest win, which was over this sort of trip at Ffos Las a couple of seasons ago. Has pretty much been on the slide since then and is not easy to fancy, although any market confidence might point to a potential revival.
Yet to win on turf from 18 attempts, though has twice gone close to doing so this season. However, those runs were over 1m6f and on softer ground. The latter would be a positive if the rains come, although closer inspection of his form suggests that he is better over that slightly shorter trip.
Has gone well in both starts for this yard so far, winning here over 1m5f (good to firm) and then being just held over 1m6f back here last time. Has been kept on the same mark for this step up to an extreme trip. Stamina is going to be put under serious pressure now, but can't rule him out.
Best effort on the Flat so far was over 1m4f, but stays well over hurdles, where he went close over 3m2½f (good) at Newton Abbot last time. If he could transfer that sort of ability to this game then he might be a few pounds well-in here, but it it not easy to be dogmatic about that. Interesting.
Yet to win beyond 1m5f and does not look a certain stayer from what we have seen (was well beaten on her sole try at 1m7f last year). In okay form in two recent hurdles runs but comes here with a bit to prove.

Forecasts
Banff (9/4), Tyrell (7/2), Fitzwilly (7/2), Innoko (6/1), Pastoral Music (6/1), Rolanna (13/2), Tsundoku (8/1), With Pleasure (9/1), Sunny Future (12/1), Wordiness (14/1), Daghash (16/1), Lake Shore Drive (16/1), Spiritoftomintoul (20/1)
Course specialist SUNNY FUTURE clearly enjoys himself here and now back on a handy mark, he can put some moderate recent form behind him and come good again. He will face some stiff competition, however, which will probably come in the form of recent winners Tsundoko and Banff, who will need to raise their games to follow up. Lake Shore Drive is very interesting, while Pastoral Music cannot be ruled out and Innoko is not written off though does have to prove himself over this far.
