Won back-to-back handicap chases at Ffos Las before flopping off a much higher mark at Worcester last time. An early mistake seemed to unsettle him that day and he can do better, although whether he can win off this lofty handicap mark is open to question.
Landed a novices' handicap chase at Ffos Las for Paul Morgan in December, but two runs for his current yard have failed to see him in his best light. Blinkers are fitted in a bid to spark a revival.
Irish raider who ran his best race for some time when third of nine over hurdles at Perth last month. Reverts to fences and needs to build on that last display to be a contender.
Formerly a capable performer who had been running with credit in hunter chases before reverting to handicap company at Worcester on his last start. Well held off 4lb higher in that contest, he had a below-par Super Scorpion behind. Vulnerable against younger rivals.
Recorded back-to-back victories at Leicester and Doncaster, but has struggled since. Probably needs some help from the handicapper if he is to regain the winning thread.
Made all when winning over this course (2m 4f) in May and ran his race off 8lb higher when second in a quite valuable handicap at Market Rasen last time. Has yet to win over three miles, but shapes as though he will stay and his liking of the track is a positive.
Last of three wins over fences came in May, last year, and he has been unable to make the most of a drop in the weights in subsequent outings, Represents a top stable, but others are preferred.
Capable on his day, as he showed at Wetherby in April, but has been disappointing on his last two starts. Tries a longer trip and it needs to be beneficial if he is to figure.
Looked to have a bit in hand when winning a Worcester novices' handicap chase in May so it was disappointing to see him flop over the same C&D last time. Has had a break and will not lack for assistance from the saddle so it may be too soon to be writing him off.

Several of these come with various questions hanging over them such as stable companions Foundation Man and Strongly Suggested (lack of recent form), Heroes Or Ghosts and Super Scorpion (flopped last time), and Man With Van (reverts to fences after a good run over hurdles). The percentage call, then, is THE CLOCK LEARY, who has never won over three miles but promises to stay. He is in good form, likes the track and may get his own way up front.
