Dark Angel filly, cost €40,000 as a yearling and has shown some promise at this level already, notably going well over 6f at Newmarket in May on good to soft ground. Likely to be in the mix now.
Has tended to race too keenly for his own good so far, again compromising chance over 5½f at Brighton in June. Headgear off now and Queally gets chance to relax him, player if consenting early doors.
Three-time winner recently, including at Nottingham (6f, good to soft) 12 days ago in similar contest to this when showing good attitude to complete the job. Has De Sousa back on board this evening and looks a worthy contender.
Finished third behind Milton Road at Nottingham last time out, staying on after the winner had long since flown. Has just under 2L to make up but winner fancied to confirm placings.
Ran well enough when third of eight in Nottingham contest over this trip recently. Was beaten 4L there and may still have more to offer on just fifth start.
Ran with some degree of promise on debut at Doncaster in April (5f, good to soft). Has run only on good to firm since and could have more to give dropped in trip into a nursery for the first time.

Forecasts
Milton Road (6/4), Gold Filigree (7/2), The Golden Cue (9/2), Shania Says (11/2), Spoof (8/1), Blessed To Empress (8/1), Cruel Clever Cat (16/1)
THE GOLDEN CUE has been allotted an opening mark of just 62 here and that pay prove to be underestimating his ability. He's gone well in some novice events already and handles cut in the ground, from a nice berth in stall two, he should have things in his favour to lay down a challenge. Milton Road is not passed over easily give the brilliant recent form he's shown and, with De Sousa back on board, he looks sure to run another big race. Gold Filigree can have a say dropped in trip while Spoof will present much more of a threat if learning to settle in his races.
