Showed a decent turn of foot to put a Wolverhampton handicap to bed last month and 7lb rise for that effort possibly a little lenient. Yard in good form and had a winner here Tuesday so can't be ruled out with an excellent claimer taking off 5lb.

Has bounced back to form on recent starts but only narrowly prevailed last time out and effectively up 6lb for that run. Others probably more progressive and he needs every to drop right for him to get his head in front.

C&D winner two starts back and not disgraced in a little deeper at Ascot last time out but more work to do from well out of the handicap here. Trainer and jockey have a good record when combining and has won on soft ground earlier in his career.
