Recorded a hat-trick towards the back end of last season, culminating in a Group 2 win at Newmarket. Struggled upped in class in two starts this year though and he would probably prefer faster ground to what he will get here. While the step back up in trip in his favour, this is a stronger Group 2 than the one he won last year and looks up against it.
Won three Group races in his career and produced a smart effort behind Ribchester in the Lockinge earlier in the season. Not in the same form on a couple of subsequent starts but conditions in his favour and fair claims if bouncing back.
Smart front runner, well suited to these conditions and best over this trip. Won a Group 3 last time out, beating fellow Godolphin inmate Jungle Cat and could confirm the form with that rival. Never won a Group 2 but finished runner-up on a couple of occasions including this race last year and gets an ideal stall for front running tactics. Could be tough to peg back.
Consistent sort but doesn't get his head in front all that often. Set to enjoy conditions here but generally finds a couple too good and only pattern race he has won was a below-par Group 3. May struggle again.
Tends to save his best form for Meydan and ran well in this year's renewal of the Al Quoz Sprint. Been in good form returned to the UK this year and only ¾L behind Home Of The Brave at Newmarket last month. Plenty of speed and probably better over 6f but can't be completely ruled out.
Won a valuable contest at Ascot in soft ground over this trip last year and produced a fine effort behind The Tin Man at Royal Ascot last time out. If he improves for the step back up in trip and gets some luck in running, he may be the one to beat.
Highest rated in this field and won a Group 1 in France over this trip last year. Possibly better over 6f but not been at quite the same level this year and ground may be too soft for him this time around so one to treat with caution.
Been at his best this season, finishing second in the Lincoln before going on to win at Bath and a Listed Haydock win subsequently. Found out to some extent in a Group 1 last time out and softer ground not certain to suit.
Group 3 winner back in 2015 and not won since landing a Listed contest over a year ago. Respectable effort last time at the Curragh in a Group 2 but this race is a different proposition and he would need a career best by someway to land a blow.
Winner of a Group 3 at Newmarket at the start of the 2016 season but lost his form a little since. Beaten favourite at Windsor two starts back in Listed company and could only run to a similar level last time at the Curragh. Will get a strong pace to aim at at least but others hold stronger claims.
His runner-up effort behind Limato in last year's July Cup probably a career best and performed respectably over this trip when third behind that rival again last year in France. Not been at quite that level this season but went off too fast at Royal Ascot last time and worth giving another chance to.
Went off a 66/1 shot at Royal Ascot earlier in the season when only just beaten and confirmed the promise of that run with a win at the Curragh last time out. Return to softer ground perhaps a concern given his breeding but one of the few unexposed runners and there could be more to come.
Not beaten all that far by Barney Roy in a Group 3 and ran a big race in the 2,000 Guineas before failing to handle the dip. Undulating track here perhaps not in his favour but he's unexposed and he can bounce back from a poor run at Ascot last time. Each-way claims.

Forecasts
Limato (3/1), Home Of The Brave (4/1), Dream Castle (5/1), Librisa Breeze (7/1), Spirit of Valor (7/1), Aclaim (9/1), Dutch Connection (10/1), Jungle Cat (20/1), Stormy Antarctic (20/1), Cougar Mountain (20/1), Suedois (25/1), Oh This Is Us (33/1), Breton Rock (50/1), So Beloved (50/1), Jallota (100/1)
In what looks like a very hot renewal of this race, Limato brings the best form to the contest. There are however major doubts about the ground and his very best efforts have come over 6f. HOME OF THE BRAVE could be hard to peg back and there's not a whole lot of pace in the race; he could be Godolphin's best chance of landing back-to-back renewals of the race. Librisa Breeze was impressive last time and the step back up in trip could see him improve a little further while Spirit Of Valor looks progressive and is a player if not inconvenienced by the softer conditions. Suedois could run well at bigger odds if he returns to the form of last season.
