Knocking on the door in turf maidens this term, including when second over a mile at Bellewstown last month. This softer ground is an unknown but may go close with first-time cheekpieces added.
Mixed back in four runs for Dermot Weld last year, best of those would him interesting for this contest. Has been off for nine months and making first start for new connections now, market check advised.
Better effort on third start over 6f at Naas last week, up in trip now but still left requiring a chunk of improvement.
Mid-seventies rated handicapper at best and already looks like he has reached his plateau. Respected but needs everything to fall into place for him. Others preferred (Engaged here on Monday evening).
Has run well enough in five starts without truly threatening a breakthrough win, get a visor added for the first time now and not completely dismissed.
Bernardini gelding cost €18,000 as 2yo makes racecourse debut here and best watched unless market vibes speak strongly.
A 40,000 gns yearling this Bated Breath gelding is making a first start here, yard haven't had many runners of late but worthy of a check in the betting.
Bullet Train filly is worth noting for trainer with 20% strike rate recently, makes her debut here having been acquired for £22,000 as a 2yo.
Close fourth of 17 on debut over 1m1½f at Gowran Park just over a week ago, drops in distance for this and looks to be a leading player.
Galileo filly is closely related to useful 1m winner Afternoon Sunlight, makes her debut here for trainer with remarkable record at this meeting and worth noting.
Beaten 3L in fourth on debut at the Curragh just three days, may be able to build on that promising opening show.
Tailed off on debut over 1m on the AW at Dundalk last month, that run likely too bad to be true and should have more to offer in time.
Gold Well filly was poor on recent Gowran Park debut over a longer trip, down in distance but doesn't make significant appeal here.
Well beaten off over 6f at Navan in the middle of last month on debut on good to firm ground, watching brief advised for now.

The Great Wall (4/1), Dochasach (5/1), High Altitude (11/2), Maysonette (6/1), Espoir D'Soleil (13/2), Pure Action (7/1), Rimshot (8/1), Cascavelle (9/1), Presidential (14/1), Dreaming Of Gold (14/1), Desert Train (25/1), Tyrconnell (25/1), Heavy Artillery (25/1), Our Chelsea Lady (33/1), Simbas Song (50/1), Mystical Affair (66/1)
It hasn't been the best of seasons for Dermot Weld so far but this is a special place for him and he remains worthy of maximum respect at Ballybrit. Newcomer ESPOIR D'SOLEIL could hand him a seventh win in this contest in just ten years, a daughter of Galileo, she's related to several winners and looks sure to go well on debut. Dochasach went well over a longer trip on debut at Gowran Park and merits strong consideration while Pure Action, Dreaming Of Gold and Presidential are also shortlisted along with newcomer Desert Train.
