Sees this trip out well and has been a good servant at this level for several seasons, mainly on fast ground. 4lb higher than his latest success over 1m2f (good to soft) here earlier in the month and was competitive from higher marks than this last year, so could again go well.
Drops back in trip here for the first time since winning over it at Kempton 16 months ago. Has won over 1m5½f since and also over 1m6f at Yarmouth (good) last time. Nudged up 2lb for that and this stiff track will help make use of his stamina, so has to enter calculations with conditions fine for him.
Has clocked up plenty of miles already this year, winning two of his 12 starts, including at Carlisle (1m3f, good to firm) last time. Up 3lb for that and while he hasn't run well enough to defy this mark for some time, now that this trainer has him in form, you couldn't rule another very good effort. Acts with cut in the ground.
0-10 so far and has generally been in recession since going handicapping last year. Showed signs that he may be able to halt the slide when a 2½L third at Thirsk (1m4f, good to soft) last time out and from the same mark he probably has each-way claims.
Runner-up in all three maiden runs from 7½f-1m1f, on good/good to soft ground. Interesting that she now steps up markedly in trip for this handicap debut from what is a workable mark and being by a King George winner, that may well suit. Market check advised to gauge confidence.
Has won over this trip, although the majority of his success has come over 1m2f. Showed last time at Redcar that he sees out 1m6f, so this stiff track over 1m4f looks well worth a try and from the same mark he should be thereabouts.
Yet to win beyond 1m2f, though is arguably unexposed over this far after trying it for the first time at Beverley earlier in the month. Was a beaten favourite there when he hung under pressure and not sure that this testing track will play to his strengths when he has stamina still to prove.
Arrives in superb form after completing a hat-trick when stepped up to 1m3f at Hamilton (good) last time. Had almost 4L to spare there and was doing his best work at the finish, so every chance that this step up in trip could go along way to helping him defy an 8lb rise. Has that, plus softer ground to overcome.
Has began to look like he might be capable of winning races since going handicapping, making the frame on his last two starts, including here over C&D last time. Raised 1lb for that but looks capable of better and should be on the premises.

REGAL MIRAGE is in tremendous form and while he has gone up another 8lb since completing a hat-trick, he looks to have further improvement in him for an extra furlong, so he is again the suggestion. Cornerstone Lad, Jan De Haam, New Society and Steccando all have claims if able to produce their best, while Avenue Des Champs won't be stopping in the closing stages and should be thereabouts. Check the market with regard to Liquid Gold, who is an unknown quantity over this far but could make a good fist of it on her handicap intro.
