Paco Boy filly out of a Listed-placed dam who won over sprint trips. Not a bad pedigree but a mild concern it has taken her this long to make her debut.
Has looked a little way below the required standard to win a maiden so far but is pitched at a more suitable level now and would have at least a chance of placing on her best form..
Has put in some very encouraging efforts to date, particularly over this specialist trip. This looks to be about the right level for her and she should be able to go well again.
Dream Ahead half-sister to multiple-Listed placed Linguistic. Relatively interesting pedigree and the market should improve informative as to her chance on this racecourse debut.
More exposed than most in this field and is a little inconsistent but has looked capable of landing a maiden of this nature on occasion, and no surprise to see her go close.
Progressed from her first to her second runs to finish a fair fourth over further here last time. Experienced trouble in running there and is capable of improving again in what seems to be a relatively weak affair.
Mayson filly who cost €7,500 as a 2yo. Dam is related to a few Listed winners but unexciting pedigree other than that, though her trainer is currently in good form.
May not have stayed intermediate trips the last twice, and steps back down in distances now. Previously ran very well in a 1m maiden and should continue that progression now in conditions that should suit.
Has only beaten one horse home in each of her two starts so far and was beaten an accumulative 35L across those two races. Plenty to prove now.
Has run only moderately in two maidens so far, and steps down in trip here. Plenty to prove up against some rivals who appear to simply possess more ability at this stage.
Not disgraced on debut when finishing sixth at Tipperary, but still needs a big step forward in order to prove truly competitive here.
Forecasts
Pavlenko (11/4), Kailee (3/1), Betty Loch (4/1), In Somno (7/1), Dream Dancing (7/1), Above Us Only Sky (10/1), Vinyl (14/1), Streisand (16/1), Number One Girl (25/1), Maysonette (33/1), Sally Gap (100/1)
At least on paper, this isn't as strong a maiden as the first two on this card, and it may go to an unexposed, improving type, with KAILEE fitting the bill. This daughter of Bated Breath showed plenty of improvement from her first to second runs, even without considering the trouble she had to endure in-running at this course last time. The drop in trip shouldn't be an issue, and she should be capable of going close if enjoying a clear run and improving further. Pavlenko may not have stayed much further than this the last twice and could be worth chancing back down in trip, while In Somno has had plenty of chances by now but has consistently looked like she could be capable of winning a relatively weak maiden.
