Beaten 4L into third in a maiden over this C&D last time out, but had shown plenty of progression from his first to second starts, and should be able to be very competitive in this if taking another step forward.

Beaten 11L into last of fifth on debut at Killarney last month. Some excuses that day but still needs to raise his game in a big way here.
Epaulette colt who cost £48,000 as a yearling. Plenty of speed in his pedigree and so should enjoy the trip on debut, and the mark should prove informative as to his chances.
War Front colt out of a Galileo mare who won a Group 3 and stayed further than this. The market should prove informative on debut.

Excelebration filly whose dam is related to some useful types, but is uninteresting from a a pedigree perspective other than that, and is best watched on debut.

Ran a fair race on debut at Fairyhouse early last month when sent off an unfancied 66/1. Needs to find plenty more in what looks a good quality contest.

Failed to progress from her first to her second starts, with the latter coming over a furlong further at this course. Others may prove more progressive options in this competitive-looking affair.
Not beaten too far in two starts so far and drops in trip now. Dam won over 5f at two, so the distance shouldn't be an issue, and she's entitled to go well again.

Rock Of Gibraltar filly, related to a few winners over sprint distances but goes for a trainer not renowned for success with first time out juveniles. Wears a hood for this first run.

Ran much better than the seventh-placed form figure suggests when not beaten far on debut over C&D last time. That maiden is working out very well in terms of form and a big run is anticipated from her now facing the colts.

Well-beaten (and 4L behind Lady Boomerang) on debut at Fairyhouse less than a week ago. Difficult to make a case for in what could be a trickier race.
Unimpressive on debut at Fairyhouse over this trip last week. Needs to have found a large amount of improvement in a short amount of time to get competitive in this.

Teofilo filly who cost €30,000 as a yearling. Not the most obvious pedigree on debut and her trainer isn't known for his success with juveniles.

Forecasts

Fleet Review (4/5), Goodthingstaketime (7/2), Dream Malfunction (7/1), Royal Navy Warship (12/1), Back At Dawn (14/1), Militry Decoration (16/1), Sappho (20/1), Freescape (33/1), Afillyation (33/1), Air Of Nobility (33/1), Lady Boomerang (40/1), Just Sherry (50/1), Gillabbey Rock (50/1)

Verdict

If able to continue with the progression he showed from his first to second runs, then FLEET REVIEW could provide the answer here. He ran a fine race over a furlong shorter here last time, and shaped as if this step up in trip should suit him down to the ground. With a very attractive pedigree, he holds some eye-catching entries and can justify them here. Dream Malfunction was slightly outclassed in what was simply a very good maiden last time and can do better here, while Royal Navy Warship appeals most of the newcomers, though his trainer's juveniles have often needed the run first time out so far this season.

  2. Dream Malfunction
  3. Royal Navy Warship
