A winner on his debut over 6f at Windsor he holds some Group entries in the future and was gambled on that initial run when he showed good speed and attitude. He looks like one who would build on his debut and its only the useful sorts that have won first time out for this yard this season. Not badly drawn here giving weight away all round although it is strange to see the blinkers go on for the first time.

One of the more experienced runners in the field with three runners under his belt although the soft ground didn't look to suit at Haydock last time over 5f. He's well drawn here but with plenty of rain around the ground may well be too soft again.

Another one who has already had three runs but was poor last time out at Carlisle although he had looked decent on his previous run over the same C&D. Judged on his first two runs he would have a chance here but hard to know what to expect overall.
Didn't achieve much on his first outing over 6f at Yarmouth but looked an improved model last and next time out over 5f on quick ground at Beverley. Still well drawn here and not without hope if he can repeat his last run.

Ran to a very poor level on her debut over C&D when getting outpaced and not making too much of an impression and not one to get too excited about.

Started at a big price (66/1) on her debut when showing very little in a York seller hanging badly before halfway and finishing well beaten.

Cost €12,000 as a yearling and is a half-sister to two winners including a US two-year-old winner over 7f to a mile. Stable don't have too many juvenile winner though and lumbered with the widest draw and hooded for her debut.
Trainer has had plenty of two-year-old winners this year and this one offered plenty of encouragement on her debut at Ripon over 6f. Looks sure to improve for that debut and has the plum draw here if she can show enough pace to cope with the drop back to 5f.

Showed better form on her second start having been given a break since her debut and went quite well but still lacked a cutting edge and may need some more experience.

Forecasts

Buridan (6/4), Miss Puddles (10/3), Big Time Maybe (4/1), Charnock Richard (11/2), Johni Boxit (8/1), Go Sandy (33/1), Orient Princess (40/1), Lady Ensign (150/1), Mariah's Melody (150/1)

Verdict

The blinkers going on BURIDAN for his second start is slightly worrying especially as he showed a very willing attitude on his debut but he holds some eye-catching entries. The ground looks a slight worry for Big Time Maybe and it looks to be Miss Puddles and Chanock Richard who hold the bigger danger to the likely favourite. Johni Boxit and Orient Princess are two others to watch with the latter one to keep an eye on in nurseries down the line
  1. Buridan
  2. Miss Puddles
  3. Charnock Richard
