Winner in Listed company last year at Pontefract and running well in Listed contests this year before finding Group 1 company behind two starts back. Solid each-way claims but hard to imagine there's a lot of scope from this mark.
Very game front-runner who has been running well this year without managing to get his head in front. Versatile conditions wise and solid each-way claims again but likely to be one or two better-handicapped lurking.
Arrives here in hat-trick bid after wins over this trip at Doncaster and Ayr. May not be done progressing yet and 5lb rise for that win looks fair. With the stiff nature of this course likely to suit and Ryan Moore booked, another bold bid is expected.
Has endured an interrupted career to date and shaped as if amiss last time out at Sandown when last of 13. Won his previous two starts and yard in excellent form so can't be dismissed but certainly has a bit to prove here with regards to well-being.
Back-to-back winner on the AW but not proved quite as effective on turf and would probably want faster conditions than what he will get here. Yard in good form but not necessarily the owner's first string with Crowley unable to do the weight on Alwahsh.
Beaten out of sight in the Derby but back on track at that same course last time with a win in a four-runner contest, making all in impressive fashion. 7lb rise for that fair and should appreciate the nature of this course; interesting runner in similar conditions he's proven in.
Not won since his debut and this mark looks beyond him at present. Seemingly yard's second string with Alwahsh in the line up and hard to fancy on all known form.
In excellent form this year and only narrowly beaten here last time out. Needs to learn to settle better but likely he's still ahead of his handicap mark and solid chance provided they go fast enough on the front end.
Impressive 7L winner at Nottingham last time out but handicapper taken no chances with this mark. Still, further progress likely and not necessarily the owner's second string with Crowley unable to do this weight. Market confidence likely to be significant.
Winner of two of his five starts this year, seemingly appreciating any cut in the ground. Not a great deal of scope from this handicap mark but jockey rode a winner for this yard on her return recently and any market support should be noted.
Winner on return at Musselburgh earlier in the season but seemingly exposed from this kind of mark on subsequent starts. Drop back down in trip probably in his favour but looks stable's second string on jockey bookings.
Really came in to form towards the back end of last season recording a hat-trick but well beaten on his return in two starts in the spring. Back to form at Hamilton last time out though after a short break and claims if he can build on that.
Forecasts
Century Dream (4/1), Juanito Chico (5/1), Mustarrid (11/2), Pealer (7/1), D'bai (8/1), Alwahsh (8/1), Fire Brigade (9/1), Naval Warfare (14/1), Executive Force (18/1), Masham Star (20/1), Cullingworth (25/1), Rashford's Double (40/1)
CENTURY DREAM arrives here in search of a hat-trick and less exposed than most in this field; he could be hard to beat with Ryan Moore booked to ride for the first time and this track likely to suit. D'Bai and Masham Star are both consistent performers who hold each-way claims but Pealer may be the main danger to the selection after a dominant win at Epsom last time.
- Century Dream
- Pealer
- Masham Star
