Winner upped to 1m for the first time at Carlisle (good-to-firm) earlier this month. Had previously been running over 5-6f and rates an interesting runner off a 2lb higher mark for a stable with a 20% strike-rate of late (12/61).

Mulzim (9/2), Rock N Rolla (5/1), Fayez (6/1), Proud Archi (7/1), Right Action (8/1), Pecheurs De Perles (8/1), Parys Mountain (8/1), Ventura Secret (17/2), Aimez La Vie (12/1), Groupie (12/1), Hemingway (14/1), Heavenly Angel (20/1)

Verdict

MULZIM has been running well on the AW since switching to handicaps and can register his second success in three starts in handicap company by taking this 7f contest. The selection was narrowly beaten off a 5lb lower mark at Lingfield last time and represents a good yard here. Groupie ran well to win on just her second start over this distance and she can claim second here ahead of Ventura Secret who hails from a yard with a good strike-rate in recent weeks.
