Made a very promising debut at this course over 5f last time out, when beaten only a neck by an odds-on favourite who had also previous beaten subsequent Super Sprint winner Bengali Boys. Has an outstanding chance now making his second start.
Sayif colt who cost £9,000 as a 2yo; half-brother stays 1m6f and there are other stamina-heavy influences in the pedigree as well. Seems to be one who will improve for further in time.
Slightly disappointing when beaten favourite at Lingfield last time out but still didn't run terribly there and possibly worth another chance now back up to 6f.
Not much went right for her on debut at Chelmsford last time, and she can learn from that experience and go closer this time having finished a fair fourth on that occasion. Dam won over 6f at two, so step up in trip should be fine.
Beaten 28L into last at Hamilton debut last time, on soft ground. Needs to leave that effort a long way behind her for this second run, but could do better if able to settle more effectively.
Kheleyf filly who cost only 800gns as a yearling, and goes for a trainer with a poor record with juveniles.
Vale Of York colt who cost 2,000gns as a yearling and whose dam won over 5f. Not the most obvious connections for a first time out winner, but still of some interest on debut.

On the basis of a very promising second here earlier in the month, FYRE CAY seems to be the one to beat. Kevin Ryan's charge was beaten only a neck by Chatburn, who had previously both beaten subsequent Super Sprint winner Bengali Boys, and run with credit behind July Stakes winner Cardsharp. With that form obviously reading well, he should be capable of running a massive race in what otherwise looks an ordinary novice event. Dorcas, who should be capable of plenty of improvement in the hands of Silvestre De Sousa could be the one to chase him home, while Mandarin Princess makes the most appeal of the newcomers.
