Course winner who ran very well at Sandown when last seen earlier in the month, only beaten by an impressive winner. On the same mark now and should be there or thereabouts.
Won a maiden at this course over further last October but since outclassed in Listed company and played only a minor role on her handicap debut. Needs to put those efforts behind her in order to get involved here.
Raised 6lb for a victory over this trip at Haydock last time out. That was probably her best performance since her debut, and though she has the extra weight to contend with here another bold bid is still anticipated.
Winner in France when previously trained in that country, but faces a different challenge on stable debut now making her first start in Britain, and has recently seen his form tail off.
Has thrived since switching to handicaps, and though both his wins to date have come on the all-weather he's just as effective on turf, seems progressive and would have a big chance if building on a fine third over C&D earlier in the month off the same mark. Hood on for the first time.
No better with first-time blinkers over a furlong further at this course last time out, which he retains today. Races from 12lb out of the handicap and has it all to find.
Forecasts
Erissimus Maximus (11/8), Dundunah (5/2), Wild Approach (9/2), Loving (11/2), Terrific Feeling (33/1), Percy Toplis (66/1)
WILD APPROACH has done very well since starting off in handicaps, winning twice and running with credit on just about all his other starts, and given how well he ran over C&D last time out it would be no surprise to see him get his head in front again here. Though both his wins have come on a synthetic surface he is just as effective on turf and with a first-time hood unlikely to do his chances any harm, he is taken to see off the challenge of Dundunah, a clear-cut winner at Haydock last time, and Erissimus Maximus another course winner who comes into this looking in good form.
- Wild Approach
- Dundunah
- Erissimus Maximus
