Interesting runner returned to the Flat after a fine effort at Cork last time over hurdles. No doubts he'll stay this far and could be well-handicapped.
Back-to-back winner over hurdles last year and has been running well returned to the Flat more recently. Handicap mark looks fair and may be able to record his first win on the level here.
Still a maiden after 10 starts and shown nothing in two starts for this yard, tailed off on each outing. Plenty to prove here.
Once contested a race in Meydan and was beaten by the might California Chrome but has obviously regressed since those days. Has got back on track this year though and clearly well-handicapped on old form; interesting runner.
French import made fair effort on sole previous start over 1m½f at Cholet in April 2016, off since and joined this Irish yard. Long layoff to defy and perhaps best watched unless market position is strong.
Five time winner but 14 starts without a win on turf and while he ran well last time out at Dundalk, he looks opposable away from the AW. Step back up in trip looks a good move at least.
Well beaten on all four starts to date including handicap debut last time out and looks in need of more relief from the assessor. Seemingly the first-string on jockey bookings though so possible more is expected.
Off the mark at the 14th attempt two starts back at odds of 50/1 but beaten out of sight last time in softer conditions. Potentially worth giving another chance to on back on faster ground.
Yet to win in 21 starts (13 on the Flat) and not shown any encouragement on her most recent outings including a spin over C&D two starts back. Jockey booking a positive but looks up against it.
Not won for nearly two years but on a very fair mark as a result. Has shaped like a non-stayer at previous attempts at this trip though and will be of more interest dropped back to shorter.
Winner of her second start two years ago but not won since. Largely campaigned over hurdles for this yard but not beaten all that far last time at Fairyhouse. Claims if building on that.
Not won since winning a maiden back in 2012 but shaped well here three starts back when fourth of 17. Hasn't been able to build on that though and up against it once again here.
Forecasts
El Tren (3/1), Magna Cartor (7/2), Our Rachael (4/1), Temasek Star (7/1), Emily Square (7/1), Streak (14/1), Eight And Bob (16/1), Striking Gold (16/1), Awareness (20/1), Whistling Straits (20/1), Dark Amber (20/1), Torquay (33/1)
STRIKING GOLD looks like an interesting runner for the Jessica Harrington team despite appearing to be the second string on jockey bookings. Magna Cartor looks like a winner in waiting and can give another good account while Emily Square wasn't beaten all that far on the Flat last time having been largely campaigned over hurdles on recent starts.
- Striking Gold
- Magna Cartor
- Emily Square
