Fair effort when fourth of six on debut over 6f at Carlisle (soft) in August 2015. Unraced since and evidently had his issues.
Held on each of his two starts so far most recently in a 5f maiden at Beverley (good-to-firm). Wears a hood and eyeshield for the first time today.
Run to a decent level of form so far and not beaten far when third of six off a mark of 77 at Salisbury (good-to-firm) over 1m last time out. Likely to be involved in the finish dropping in trip today.
Unraced gelded son of Intikhab. purchased for £13,000 as a yearling in November 2015. Probably best watched on his racecourse debut.
Unraced gelded son of Rock Of Gibraltar. Cost 42,000 gns as a yearlind and is a half-brother to a couple of useful individuals at around this distance. Dam won a Group 2 contest at two and represents a leading stable on debut.
Ran well when finishing 3½L second in a seven runner maiden at Newmarket (good-to-soft) when making his debut a month ago. Stable have a 17% strike-rate of late (3/18) and one to note here.
Finished mid-division when making his debut over this distance at Redcar (good-to-firm) over a year ago. Gelded since and probably best watched on his seasonal debut.
Well held in two maiden efforts for previous stable. Purchased for 5,500 gns recently and likely to be of more interest once tackling handicaps.

Roger Varian has won this race in two of the last three years and his unraced gelding GORHAM'S CAVE can take this years renewal. The selection is out of a Group 2 winning filly in France and a half-brother to a couple of useful Flat performers. Raawy ran well when finishing runner-up on debut and he can fill the same position here while the experienced Wannabe Friends, third in a handicap last time out can take third.
