Much improved performer who has been in good form of late completing a hat-trick here on his penultimate start over this trip. Up 12lb for that last win he could only finish third last time out but wasn't disgraced at over the 2m trip and looks sure to run his race here.

Nowhere near the form she was in 2015 when she won six handicaps straight all over distances further than this. Looked to bounce back to form last year when winning-back-to-back handicaps and as ever ran well here on her penultimate start before finding 1m4f far too short on the AW at Newcastle last time out.

Not won for over a year now and hasn't really shown much in any of those runs and ran poorly here in a better grade over further on his penultimate start wearing cheekpieces for the first time. Got back to some better form last time out at Doncaster although he only plugged on at the finish but he is back down to his last winning mark.

A dual C&D winner last year with the last two wins being the last leg of a handicap hat-trick at up to distances of 2m. A winner over 2m since on the AW her last win looks to have taken her to a mark that looks as though the handicapper is in control especially against improving types.

A C&D winner in the past his sole win this year came on the AW way back in January over 2m under a 5lb claimer. This will be the first time since that he's been ridden by a fully fledged jockey since although he is just out of the handicap and running in a better grade than usual.

Forecasts

Sebastian's Wish (4/6), Dubawi Fifty (2/1), Stoneham (7/2), Stormin Tom (6/1), Jan Smuts (12/1), Wor Lass (16/1)

Verdict

SEBASTIAN'S WISH very much gave the impression that he was still improving last time out and clearly handles this track well and further more looks as though he can cope with this sort of mark. Wor Lass will be happier back over this trip and around this track and she along with Dubawi Fifty if he is fit after his break looks the main dangers. Stormin Tom and Stoneham should both run their races but essentially look in the grip of the handicapper at the moment.
  1. Sebastian's Wish
  2. Wor Lass
  3. Dubawi Fifty
