Inconsistent but relatively versatile type who was back on track with a fair third at Lingfield last time out (1m2f, good). Would have a good chance here if able to run to her best level of form.
Not denied by far at Ayr (1m2f, good to firm) last time out and is raised only 1lb by the handicapper now. Has a good record on this type of going and should find this a suitable level of race; respected.
Makes her handicap debut here having not massively impressed in maiden company and with a big question to answer regarding the trip given how she ran over this distance at Kempton last November.
Won at Brighton in May off only 1lb lower than this and though she hasn't been running particularly well since and has something to prove on this ground, she has had excuses, particularly involving the way she tends to start her races.
Won a maiden at Chester last June but has run very poorly recently, including when beaten over 10L over this trip at Windsor last week.
Makes her first racecourse appearance in over a year having been off since last June. Looked like this would be a workable handicap mark for her prior to that absence but she may well need this first run back.
Makes her handicap debut having run three races of little account in maidens so far in her career. Opening mark doesn't look particularly appealing and she is best watched.
Put in a career best at Kempton in April (6f, standard), but that's not saying much given how he performed in his races prior to that and another big step forward is required now.

This doesn't look the strongest handicap with many of them coming into it in relatively poor form, but SAKHALIN STAR is an exception to that on the basis of his performance at Ayr last time. Back up to this trip he ran a great race to finish a close third, and can perhaps count himself lucky to have been only raised 1lb. If able to repeat that level of form on ground that should be fine for him, then he could prove tough to beat. Sheer Intensity has been let down by the way she starts her races recently and should prove competitive if able to overcome that issue, while Weardiditallgorong would also be on the premises on one of her better days.
- Sakhalin Star
- Sheer Intensity
- Weardiditallgorong
