Has a decent record on turf, winning three of nine races, securing a double recently when just holding on for a win at Newmarket over a 2f longer trip. Faded away when well beaten in the Northumberland Plate last time, he is entitled to plenty of respect.
Has a fairly good strike rate in his career, winning 10 of 62 starts. Won his first two races of 2017 but has lost his way a little since, beaten behind Jaameh last time when sent off at odds of 100/1. Faces another stiff task here.
Secured the fourth win of his career when scoring over this trip at York just over as week ago, staying on in determined fashion to score having made just about all the running. Faces a stiffer test today but a repeat performance will take him close.
Has been a wonderful servant to his connections, finding his way into the winners' circle of 14 occasions and running many a good race when placed. Solid effort over this trip at Hamilton last time and represents outstanding each-way value.
A winner over a mile at Doncaster a couple of years ago when in the care of Sir Michael Stoute and has been off the track for almost a year. Has joined the Richard Fahey yard and returns on a decent mark in a tight looking handicap. No surprise if he returned with a win.
Has not had a lot of racing for a four-year-old but he is a fairly consistent performer, opening his account over 1m2f at Redcar in April. Touched off in his next two races, he returned to winning ways when scoring over 1m6f at Carlisle in June. Upped to 2m for his last two races, the drop in trip here should suit.
Justified favouritism when scoring over a mile at Chepstow in August 2015 on his second run and has remained fairly consistent since, occupying second place in his last two races, showing plenty of guts and determination. Will be battling hard all the way to the line.
Has found his way into the winners' enclosure five times in his 21 races to date, impressive when scoring over this trip at Catterick last October. Failed to add to that in two runs at the same track later that month, he returns from a decent break here, running for a new trainer.
Forecasts
Fleeting Visit (3/1), Jaameh (10/3), Kensington Star (7/2), Mukhayyam (4/1), Mustaaqeem (8/1), Sennockian Star (10/1), Henry Smith (28/1), Corton Lad (28/1)
FLEETING VISIT is a game and genuine type who is tough and resolute in a finish. This is a tricky-looking handicap but he has gone down fighting when narrowly beaten in his last two starts and he will be looking for another battle here and is taken to get his head back in front. Mukhayyam made a lot of the running when winning at York last time and arrives here in great heart while each-way backers could do worse than to side with the model of consistency that is Sennockian Star. Kensington Star is another consistent type and will relish the drop back to 1m4f.
