Disappointing odds-on favourite when third over this C&D on good ground in May. Held on his last two outings but represents shrewd connections here and one to note in this.
Finished a good third on chasing debut over 2m4f at Kilbeggan (yielding) in May. Pulled up upped in trip a month later and drop in trip should suit.
Winner here over hurdles last December and a couple of decent efforts in novice hurdles. Disappointing on chasing debut last time but represents a leading stable today.
Twice a winner over hurdles including at Ballinrobe in May. Well beaten in two chase starts and likely to fair better once tackling handicaps.
Maiden after 19 starts and held on chasing debut over 2m2f here last time out. Likely to struggle once more.
Winner twice over hurdles and best effort in seven chase starts came when finishing runner-up to a classy hurdler at Gowran Park (yielding) last October. Disappointing since however.
Fell at the first when making his chasing debut over 2m at Wexford (good) a fortnight ago. Probably best watched at present.
Point-to-point winner at Inchydoney (good) in May but well beaten in two maiden hurdle efforts and fitted with a tongue tie for his chasing debut.
Fair effort when 15L fourth of 14 in a Roscommon bumper on good ground in May. Saddle slipped when unseating at the same course last time and makes his chasing debut today.
Bumper winner on heavy ground here in March and highly tried subsequently. Well beaten on the Flat the last twice and making his chase debut today.
Finished a close third over 2m on good ground here last time out. Sole success over hurdles came on forecast good ground last November and one for the shortlist on his chasing debut in this.
Maiden hurdle winner in April 2015 and ran a fair race on chasing debut at Killarney (good) in May. Well held last time out and probably best watched at present.
Three time winner over hurdles but finished well beaten in recent starts including at Roscommon earlier this month. Making his chasing debut here.
Fell once and well beaten three times so far over fences and remains a maiden after 15 career outings. Probably best watched in this.

THE WEST'S AWAKE can make a winning chase debut in this competitive looking beginners event. The selection finished third on his latest start over hurdles and is taken to get the better of Cadeau Du Bresil who disappointed on his chasing debut at Down Royal in May while third place can go the way of Black Warrior who finished third here earlier this season.
