Eight-race maiden, disappointed earlier in the week over 1m3f at Killarney sporting first-time blinkers, now dispended with in favour of visor. Capable of getting involved on best form and stable going well.
Mare has been finding things tough this season, beaten over 12L this month at Bellewstown (1m6f, good) and while the stable are flying, she doesn't strike as being ready to add to their tally.
Routinely beaten in maidens but has shown better form in two handicap runs lately and isn't dismissed now going up in trip, though still needs to improve to be involved.
Filly had been knocking on the door prior to 1m2f Naas win a fortnight ago, didn't win by much but always doing enough and 5lb rise isn't excessive as such.
Teofilo filly represents trainer going well but will need to improve markedly on form shown in five starts to date. Went up significantly in trip on second handicap start at Tipperary late last month but unable to mount a challenge.
More than 8L adrift of Less Of That at Naas a fortnight ago, needs a career-best effort in order to come up with the goods in this field.
Unplaced in eight starts so far, well beaten both runs this month at Naas (1m2f, good) and Navan (1m6f, good to firm) and needs first-time cheekpieces to have the desired effect now.
Six-race maiden, filly ended last season with 6L defeat over 7f around here in October and off since. Never run beyond 7f before but handicapper has given her a fair crack if stamina holds.
€38,000 purchase that hasn't threatened to repay that faith so far in four runs, including 31L defeat over 1m1½f around here on recent handicap debut. Tough to see positives at the moment but early doors to be writing him off.
Just three starts since joining this yard, but they've come at irregular intervals which must rank as a concern. Well beaten in two handicaps so far, latest at Tipperary over just longer trip, and while dropping in ratings, is likely to be up against it again.
Struggled in all three maidens and handicap bow at Navan (1m2f, good) in May was also very hard work. 12lb wrong at these weights and facing surely a thankless task.
Forecasts
Less Of That (2/1), Circling Moon (5/1), Lamh Ar Lamh (11/2), Miss Snossyboots (7/1), Inescapable (7/1), Awesome Gal (7/1), Big Ego (14/1), Litir Ghra (25/1), Prudencia (33/1), Yarraman (50/1), Agatha Rose (50/1)
LESS OF THAT delivered on her recent promise when scoring last time out at Naas and while she didn't have a big margin to spare, she did leave the impression there might be a bit more to come yet and so a 5lb rise looks fair. Miss Snossyboots has improved since switched into handicaps and should go well while the likes of Inescapable and Lamh Ar Lamh have potential but must prove they can put things together to have a final say.
- Less Of That
- Miss Snossyboots
- Inescapable
