Come down a long way in the ratings and capable at this sort of level these days. On a 13-race losing run on turf, however, and faces a tough assignment from the head of the weights.
In good form just now and back on a winning mark. Ground conditions also in his favour and capable rider booked. Plenty going for him in this company and one to bear in mind if the market vibes are positive.
Been kept busy this season and back on a comparable mark with the best of his recent AW form. Debatable as to whether he is quite so good on turf, though. Looks a risky option for win only purposes.
A tough veteran that usually gives his all, he goes well at this course and would be dangerous to underestimate despite his advancing years. Drop in trip very much in his favour and one to keep a close eye on in the betting. Place claims at least.
Been in great heart since joining his current yard and fully deserved to finally get his head in front at Carlisle last month. Two subsequent efforts have been solid performances and has to be considered as a player at this level. Today's rider taking a handy 3lb off his back also does no harm.
Won his last start as a juvenile in good style but was gelded during the off-season and hasn't looked the same force. hard to make a case for him on this season's efforts and best watched just for now.
Ran a blinder in the first-time visor in her latest start and claims if building on that performance. Interesting that she is tried in blinkers this time around and, as an unexposed handicapper, she merits a second look in the betting. High draw an obvious negative, however.
Still a maiden after 14 starts (and three efforts on turf have been poor). Now back with Ian Williams after a spell in Dubai and is well drawn if revitalised by the switch. This is easier than some of his AW assignments but still a leap of faith required unless the market indicates otherwise.
Not disgraced on handicap debut latest and still open to plenty of improvement. This season's form encouraging and the betting will be informative where this filly is concerned. One to consider for a speculative play.
Won well on the AW at Newcastle on his penultimate start but was found out in a better grade from an 11lb higher mark last time. This more his level but no worthwhile form on turf just yet and probably best left to his own devices this time around.
Signs of improvement since switching to handicaps this term. And very possible he has a race within him at some point. But this may be a step beyond his current level just now.
Posted a couple of good efforts over C&D and claims if capable of running to a similar level here. Requires to better her personal best by quite some way, however, and needs a bit of luck in running from her draw.
Still a maiden and only lightly raced in recent times, so has a bit to prove. Rider's 7lb claim does little to bolster her claims at the weights and she looks to face a very stern test from just out of the handicap.

Beverley Bullet (11/2), Size Matters (11/2), Heart Of Gold (6/1), Fantasy Gladiator (7/1), Pacific Salt (8/1), Rey Loopy (8/1), Duchess Of Fife (11/1), Getgo (12/1), Tom's Anna (12/1), Still Waiting (12/1), Shearian (14/1), Lord Murphy (14/1), Tellovoi (20/1), Prince Jai (33/1), Southview Lady (66/1)
Consistency is thin on the ground but possible the likes of Heart Of Gold and Duchess Of Fife may have a little more to offer than a few of the rest and are worth keeping tabs on in the betting. However, PACIFIC SALT arrives here in good shape and makes the most appeal this time around. Beverley Bullet and Fantasy Gladiator are a couple of other wily characters that can make sure this is a good test.
- Pacific Salt
- Heart Of Gold
- Beverley Bullet
