Has run well both starts, learning from his Punchestown debut in May to finish a solid second at Gowran Park last time. May face different ground conditions here if the rain does come but is going the right way, and can't be discounted.

Didn't show much in point-to-points bt did better when third to Smooth River at Wexford, giving the impression this step up in trip will suit. Headgear applied there seemed to make the difference, so chances if building on that.
Travelled well and stayed on to finish a decent second to Thermistocles at Roscommon last time, backing up the impression he'd made in two previous runs. This is no harder, and with rain not an issue, looks a major player.
Shown next to nothing in a bumper and a point-to-point and can't be realistically considered the winner here.
Did a bit better at Ballinrobe last time, sticking to the task when staying on into midfield, and is related to enough winners (both Flat and jumps) to think she's up to winning something down the line. May need more time, so best watched.
Second on only appearance to date, and absence since last September a slight concern, but related to some useful sorts and with a top yard. This trip will suit and she should do better here.
Solid debut at Tramore in April but every run a small backward step since then, and is proving expensive to follow now. Nicely bred and may yet do better, but already comes with risks attached.
Some promise to be gleaned from her last couple of efforts but not enough to think he's up to taking a hand in this, and has ground to make up

Forecasts

Slippery Serpent (11/4), Court Tycoon (3/1), Court Artist (7/2), Pancrace (5/1), Welmeetintheoffice (7/1), Emmas Dilemma (9/1), Whereyabin (25/1), Cherryade (66/1)

Verdict

Willie Mullins has won this three times in the last four years and Court Artist will be a popular choice to make it winner number four, but a few of these come here off the back of decent efforts and this is no gimme. SLIPPERY SERPENT has a bit going for him here, having looked the winner last time out before getting run out of it late, and he won't mind any rain either. He is worth a bet to turn the Mullins entrant over. Pancrace can get involved if building on his Wexford effort too.
  1. Slippery Serpent
  2. Court Artist
  3. Pancrace
