Clear progress has been made in all his three runs so far and he is the most experienced in this field with three runs already under his belt and a win last time in a small field at Hamilton over 6f in soft conditions. May well have had the run of the race here but looks to have further improvement in him despite having to give weight away all round here.
Looks as though this step up to 6f will suit him after a couple of attempts over 5f where he showed improvement from his debut last time out at Chepstow. His last run has worked out quite well (second and fifth won next time out) and he should be watched in the market here.
Certainly wasn't cheap as a yearling (cost 85,000 guineas) and is a half-brother to three winners including a couple who were useful as juveniles. Dam was also a two-year-old winner and for a duo that do well here he should be respected here on debut.
From a yard that has had two-year-old winners this season and some very good ones at that there is a lot to like about this one on pedigree. Half-brother to a smart handicapper in Lincoln his dam was also a 5f juvenile winner and it won't be a surprise to see him take a hand here on debut.
Well held on his debut at Ascot over 6f despite being prominent in the betting he faded out of contention quickly in the end. From a yard that have done well with their juveniles this year though and it won't be beyond the realms of possibility to see a better performance from him here.
Another of the debutantes in the field he's from a yard having one of their best seasons ever and a 3/11 record with their two-year-olds although they are yet to have a debut winner in this sphere. Cost €77,000 as a first foal with the dam a winner over 7f and a half-sister to the smart Tin Horse a winner at up to a mile.
Made his debut over 6f at Thirsk on ground with some give in the ground looking as though the experience would do him good. Stable yet to have a juvenile winner this year though from 13 attempts and others ahead of him in the pecking order here.

Forecasts
Diamond Set (5/2), Quayside (3/1), Humble Gratitude (7/2), Warton (4/1), Prestbury Park (9/2), Billiebrookedit (11/1), Saisons D'Or (14/1), Viceroy Mac (28/1)
Quayside has done nothing but improve in his three runs so far but he has to give weight away around all round here and will need to progress again against a useful field. Billiebrookedit will need watching in the market for a yard that isn’t known for their two-year-old winners but there are some useful newcomers in this and it may one of these that can take this with the best of the quartet being Diamond Set and HUMBLE GRATITUDE. The latter just gets the vote from a yard that have had a decent enough season with their juveniles and are not adverse to a winning debutante.
- Humble Gratitude
- Quayside
- Diamond Set
