Shoulders a big weight for one so young but he looks hard to oppose given the superiority he exhibited on Friday. Beat a decent bunch that day and rider booked who is 6-17 on the yard's youngsters this term. Stable took this two years ago. Shoulders a penalty but will race off 5lb higher in future.

Well beaten in the Listed Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot before chasing home his well supported stable companion last time. He fared best of those ridden off the pace that day and looks set for a place at least.

VENTURA KNIGHT has improved significantly since stepping up to 7f and his impressive win at Carlisle on Friday makes him difficult to oppose. The handicapper wants him to race off a significantly higher mark in future and connections will have him ready to exploit the opportunity. Magnus and Shovel It On were noted staying on late last time and the former looks booked to claim a place, as does Shaheen who made all to score at Redcar and looks the type with potential to deliver more.
