Formerly with Godolphin and off the track for almost two years (since the 2015 Magnet Cup) when posting a fine comeback/stable debut second to Kapstadt at Newmarket last month (1m2f good). Raised 3lb, but the one to beat if able to reproduce that effort.
Slowly dropping in the weights, and shaped with more promise when a comfortably held third to King Bolete at Windsor (1m3f+ good to soft) early this month. Just 1lb higher than when winning at Nottingham in October and fairly versatile in terms of underfoot conditions so likely to be thereabouts.
Course winner, but regularly races over much shorter trips and therefore likely to be extremely vulnerable in this grade against some solid enough performers who will exploit any weaknesses.
Hold up performer who has an impressive strike rate on synthetics (5 from 8; 62.5%). Most of those recent victories have come over further, but this trip is fine. Finished last of 19 in the Duke of Edinburgh Handicap at Royal Ascot on stable debut last month, but looks the type this trainer will do well with (a la Absolute Blast).
Yet to win beyond a mile and tackles this trip for the first time. His sole start beyond a mile (Newmarket in April) suggested stamina might be a worry, but in fairness that was in a stronger contest (Listed). Finished just under 4L fourth of seven over 1m here latest to Auberge Du Lac.
A three time winner from 18 career starts, including from a 10lb lower mark at this track in August 2016 (beat Mirsaalah by ½L over 1m1f). Probably paying the price to the handicapper for his Epsom success in April, but solid enough other than an excusable effort (trip) latest.
Lightly raced, but already a three time winner in nine career starts, including over this trip at Doncaster (soft) on his penultimate start. Never able to get competitive when finishing 12th of 18 at Royal Ascot latest, but this looks more realistic, albeit from a joint career high mark.

FIRST FLIGHT made an encouraging and perhaps unexpected return to action last month when proving too good for all bar Kapstadt over this trip on the Newmarket July course. That run highlighted that all of his old ability and zest for racing (ex Godolphin) seems to remain intact, and he ought to be tough to beat here assuming that he doesn't 'bounce'. Great Hall is probably best placed to pick up the pieces should such a scenario occur.
