Bumper winner who showed significant improvement when scoring in similar grade over C&D last week. A 7lb penalty may not be enough to halt his progress and trainer/jockey are 3-7 when teaming up over the last two weeks.
Won a couple of races in this grade during the spring and may have found conditions on penultimate start. Unable to compete in better class next time and promises to be more of a threat here. The trainer/jockey combination are 5-12 with six more placed in the last fortnight.
New tactics and a career low mark helped him to an overdue chasing success at Fontwell. Rated lower over hurdles and if gifted an easy lead he could relish the opportunity.
Has run below this mark on his last two starts having finished runner-up in a Market Rasen handicap in May. Lightly raced in this sphere and as a four-time winner on the Flat there may be better to come.
Won a couple of summer hurdles last year and was sent of favourite when beaten on his next three starts. Off the track since failing to give his running at Warwick in November and best watched in the market for clues to his wellbeing.
Has weakened in the closing stages in each of his races over hurdles. Has not helped himself by jumping left and the occasional blunder. Trainer just 1-26 around here.
Suited by quick conditions as he showed when picking up a minor race at Chepstow in April. Produced his best effort since at Newton Abbot last time. Up another 2lb and this looks a stronger contest.
Irish import who has won at Stratford and Newton Abbot for these connections and found a well-handicapped rival too good in between. Up another 4lb and finds him up against better rivals this time.
C&D winner and well weighted on her best form. Nevertheless, she looks held by Utility judged on their clash here last week.
Winner over hurdles for Alan King but it has been a struggle for him since moving to pastures new. Signs of a revival on the Flat twelve days ago, but he still looks high enough in the weights at present.
Sole career success came in February 2015 and he is down to another career low mark for his return to action. Beaten favourite in two starts for Neil Mulholland last summer and back with former handler. One to check in the market but probably best watched.

Forecasts
Utility (2/1), Calva D'honore (9/2), Cillian's Well (11/2), Solstalla (8/1), Billy My Boy (10/1), Ashoka (12/1), Baratineur (12/1), Jodies Jem (16/1), Courtlands Prince (18/1), Purple 'n Gold (20/1), King Alfonso (33/1), Duke Of Sonning (66/1)
We have some in form contestants lining up for this and the handicapper has had his say in most cases. Ashoka and Cillian's Well will be popular choices but UTILITY appeared to win with enough in hand last week to suggest that a 7lb penalty still leaves him with a bit in hand at the weights. Courtlands Prince may have more to offer and returns after a spell on the sidelines. He would be worth checking in the market along with King Alfonso.
